First time using seaweed extract, the stuff is very dark brown and has stained my pots. What is the best way to get rid of it? i have a nice yellow shohin koyo pot, and the underside is white unglazed, the seaweed is really soaked in there, is there a way to get rid of it :(

I am not sure but suspect it will fade with sunlight. You must have used an awfully strong solution to cause a stain. I have been using it for about 30 years or more and I don't ever remember it staining.

Im thinking the same as @penumbra. I also use seaweed with fish emulsion and none of my pots or benches for that matter have ever gotten stained.
Do you use it right out of the bottle and not dilute it?

Soak the pot in a solution of 15 to 20% household bleach overnight, or a day or two. Then, soak the pot in clear water 24 hours, twice to insure a chlorine free pot.

Soaking the pot in regular water would dilute the extract, so that's a safe option. Do that a couple times.
Some hydrogen peroxide would help oxidize the stuff and turn it a couple shades lighter.
