    Suggestions for Hibiscus acetosella

Has anyone ever used this plant for bonsai before? I really love the look of a japanese red maple, but I don't think those would survive here. I found this recently at a local nursery, but I don't really know how well suited it is for bonsai. The leaves really do resemble a japanese red...

Display pictures in the post, rather than in the attachments section

Yeah, I understand that there are people that like it the way it is, and I'm not asking for anyone to change what they are doing now (no need to look up the url and use the img tags), but I'm wondering if there is some add on or extension for vbulletin that would allow the user to set their own...

Display pictures in the post, rather than in the attachments section

Yeah, that's pretty much the same thing, IP is plenty fast, but when I'm clicking through 10 pics, every pic takes a second or two to pop up and load, whereas if they were loaded full size, they would all be loaded by the time I finished reading the first post.

Display pictures in the post, rather than in the attachments section

It's kind of annoying to have to click on each attachment (or hit next) and wait for each picture to load. I'd rather just scroll through pictures and be able to see pictures side by side, especially for progression pictures. On most forums that I go to, pictures are usually externally hosted...

The pines and juniper at chikugo en were amazing, unfortunately I think it is illegal to bring back pines, but I did pick up a small maple from house of bonsai, hopefully it does ok in the warmer weather.

Thanks, House of Bonsai seems to be pretty close to the hotel that we are staying at. I've checked with the local department of ag and they said it would be fine to bring a tree back, as long as it does not have any organic soil. Bare rooted or planted in inorganic soil should be fine.

So I came across this azalea for sale on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/261010420049?_trksid=p5197.c0.m619 The owner writes: "I have carved it to look like lightning has hit it, right now it has a tree bonsai sealer on the cut parts until the bark at the cut area has healed , probably around...
