A tree or a weed?

Earlier this year I planted a bare root Western Redbud. The tree was likely grown in California, but don't know where. It was packed with wood shavings which I spread around the tree. About a month later I noticed a few seedlings growing. Nothing like them in my neighborhood. I took a picture with an App that I have that says Acer, but I am not really sure. If someone could help with an ID it would be appreciated. Thanks!

Not sure but I like it! Something about the leaf is oddly maple like but also not really. Maples have opposite leaf arrangements so it's probably not that.

Kind of looks grape like to me.

Looks more like it's some kind of vine, like Wild Grape.
