Amur maple pre bonsai

Hey Everyone,

Here is my pre bonsai he has been heavily reduced this year not much root work done and I have not done to much investigating of the root system. Attached are afew photos of this year. Still thinking to lop off the large I guess you would say twin trunk to the left so long as I have reached the nabari. Any thoughts?

No... lol you think I should remove the large branch to the left and make the small branch near the foil the new leader?

I am not sure. What is your development timeline, and your ambition with your bonsai?

A larger specimen in no rush would like to see movement and looking at it now that would be better for what I would like to see.
