Hello all, I'm relatively new, been lurking a bit...

Today I came to work and found ants all over my plants, specifically my money trees and orchids.

They look like sugar ants, probably after the sap that the money trees secrete. Help????? Are they bad for my plants??

Welcome to the forum!

ants themselves are not harmful to your plants, BUT ants are usually a sign of other pests which are harmful to your plants such as aphids.

The ants eat honeydew which aphids excrete and actually farm and protect the bugs on our trees,

Follow the ants and find the pests, then deal with the pests when you know what you're dealing with, I use insecticide soap.
