Looks nice because it’s portable. Not expensive as well. As an engraver we call these micromotors. Real engraving is done by push/force or pneumatic graving. Just a fun fact not trying to sound like mr know it all. I have an electric micromotor controlled with a foot pedal and I use it for carving. They are very smooth. Other than plugging it in it is very portable unlike flex shafts. Just doesn’t have the torque.

I did know of a someone who used one of these. It wasn’t this brand though. I know it was expensive.

I like this though with how portable it is. I think I will look around. Seems like something that could come in handy on whim. Searching micromotor or rotary tool will yield better results though.

From looking at that hand piece I think anyone who buys it is a test subject. I saw several for around the same price used in the nail cosmetics industry. I think getting a more reputable brand would be more worthwhile.
