Beginner class this late in the year?

I was checking out Facebook marketplace and I found this class for $80 and it looks like they are planning to supplies trees and we would style including wire. But this is happening nov 24...
Isn’t this a little late to be doing all this? I’m interested because it would be my first class but I don’t want to learn from world who think it would be ok to do the wrong things out of season but I’m still too new and maybe this is ok or even the right thing to do...

What does everyone think? Does it seem odd to you too?

No, not odd at all. Repotting would be bad, but wiring and styling now is okay in our climate.

I don't think there is a bad time to first attack a tree.
It has to happen.

What you do afterward is important.

Consider the season is important.

If everyone in the class has arrangements for their trees to be housed in a climate controlled situation over winter, and you are the only one who doesn't, you won't be able to do as much as they can.

Work appropriately.

I talked with the guy running it and it is just a beginner class but that’s alright with me, I’m just a beginner for now anyways

And if they give you a Juniper tree to work on, which is most likely, remember Junipers belong outside....all year long. Don’t believe it’s an indoor tree.

I believe he had some spots open. He said he does this same class every month. I found him through Facebook marketplace and he was fairly quick to respond.
