Black pine development pdf

About a month and a half ago I was surfing the pine section and came across a link to a pdf document on JBP care. As I recall the pdf focused on balancing energy and had many pictures (40-50?) with notes over a several years of development of the same tree. It was an excellent resource and I cannot find it. Please help. Can anyone lead me to it?

WOW!! Thanks so much for posting! I def need to bookmark that page. BVF is the bomb!! I had been thinking as I read through the progression how the bend in the middle was a bit contrived and how the tree had a very standard triangular silhouette with respect to the crown. How he resolves this issue in the end and chooses the new front...brilliant! Beyond that, the info regarding candle pinching/needle plucking schedules is invaluable.

Thanks guys, glad the PDF has been useful, it continues to be an educational project for me as well. Here is a current photo of the tree, which stands about 15" tall now. Hopefully it will be pretty full by the end of next year...then it's on to finding the right pot.
