I've got a pair of these living in one of my pines.
Don't know what they're eating but I figure they arn't hurting any thing.

Watch out Jay, those are the dreaded pinus alligatorus. Crikey they are ferocious! With your luck you will be back at the emergency room before you know it. Missed you today at the workshop, hope you foot is healing well.

I have a ton of those lizards, my hope is that they devour all of the shoot tip moths.

Hate to shatter your hopes, but I found two brown tips on this same pine the same day I took this pic.

The foot's gonna be fine ...just a day or two more till I can get my boots on.

pine

Jay,

Lets see some other pix of this pine and hear the story behind it. Glad to hear your rattler ordeal is nearly over.

I don't know wahoo... This is just an old slash pine and cause of the long needles it will never be a good bonsai.
As to the rattler thing. I was lucky, it was/is much more of an inconvienience than an ordeal.
