Repot of an old Bougie.
Old Bougie we got at Andy's place.
It needed a change to show it off more.
It has some very fine carving in the center and is a very mascline tree.
We changed the front and tilted it at the rear.

In my opinion, the new pot is still too big and the color does not accent any part of the tree as far as I can tell from the picture shown. The old pot was much closer to a color that would compliment the flowers in bloom, which is the prime time to display this species. Well, maybe a tad bit more green and a little less blue. At any rate a complementary color should be used to highlight a good feature of the tree, in this case, the flowers.

The tree itself is obviously still under development so any critique would be premature. It does have one heck of a big trunk though.

The new pot is fine as to size, since the tree is in development and we want to accelerate growth. As a training pot, it's not even worth mentioning.

I like the interesting trunk and this tree has the potential to be a show-stopper! You should be able to show this one in 2 to 3 years. Great work!
