Now I think it should be used as a hedging barricade!
I have maybe 15 variations or more for a living fence. When they all fill in, they will be much better than barbed wire.
My best Fl friend planted them outside his kid's windows. Nobody snuck in or out either!
You're right, some of them have huge thorns. Quite a bit bigger than your pic. So I put them to work for me. I have a few promising trunks for bonsai too that I wish I could take back to the States. I may plant them too, or leave them with friends. I like bougies a lot! They have been good to learn on and happy go well with my ficus collection.

My hand got pretty torn up... LOL I just cleaned up 13 that I had laying around. The bigger thorns were on Majestic Purple. It's a big plant anyhow... Pink Pixie and Temple Fire barely have any thorns and are MUCH smaller plants in general. But Yea Very effective fencing...
