Boxwood First Pruning

Here are a couple of pictures of my boxwoods first working. This is the second time I've pruned anything. I'm not sure if I should stick the the twin trunk or lose one of them. Also I was thinking of planting this with rocks eventually. Are boxwoods good canidates for root over rock. I've read an article where it talked about it briefly, but I don't remember if it said it's easy to do or hard. But I do like the roots and that's the reason I picked this plant, so I figured something to accent the roots would be nice. Let me know what you think.
