This isn’t exactly corny..

But i feel, now, we are going CORNY AND sharing “Cultural Folklore and tradition”

There is a collection pf American Folk Stories/Songs.. ORIGINALLY named “The Child Murder Ballads” which I believe to be colonial and post.. this one, called Omie Wise.. is one of my favorites.. i used to play it “out” when I was still performing..

This is a Greg Graffin (lead singer of Bad Religion) cover.

Mandolin, Dobro, hand drums and harmonica was the most entertaining way WE found to play it.

I need to learn some squeezebox...

the ONE thing the ENTIRE world SEEMS to agree on is, “Squeezebox/Accordion music is pretty great! 🤣🤣

Not exactly a “corny jig” but that moment when you hear a piece of music you usually cannot stand only to realize you have always heard it on the wrong instrument….until now.

Also.. Marimbas RULE!

Thank you for sharing..

Bach, in my opinion, is the FOUNDER of "punk rock", if you know his story.

I actually quite dislike Bach, my classical preference is more Vivaldi & Mozart.

He is much easier, I think partly because he is singing slower and his words are more pronounced. Sometimes when people are singing they drop certain sounds (like suddenly loosing a T and the end of a word), swallow whole syllables, or add a region dialect pronunciation any of which can really trip up a listener especially if the tempo is fast.

edit: not offended, I don’t mind being your lab rat.
