Got a big crab apple yesterday from the Amish. It was field grown but in a pot, the top died off but it had side shoots. Where I trunk chopped, it was still green underneath. Anyone have good luck w regrowing crab apple?

lol, you are worried about crabapple? If the roots are alive, it will grow. I am however slightly concerned by the way the roots look.
