Had some down time today approch grafted 6 kishu juniper allowed me to do 13 grafts as each one was muli trunk. Put them on my big collected California juniper. Her is before photo. After photo is a year or 2 off because it just looks like giant bush with all the grafts on. Just as reference this guy is little over 4' tall as is until it gets styled some day.

A tree with lots of character and potential...just could not figure out where did you put all this grafts.
Did you make a virtual for future styling?

I highly recommend this. I recently (scion) grafted 2 Holywood juniper without a plan for experiment and regretfully situated lots of them wrong. Some, in areas I will eventually remove!

I usually plan first but the excitement got to me faster. :p LOL
