Eclipse in Cali.

The first sign of the eclipse is that as the sun shines thru the leaves of a tree it acts like hundreds of pinhole cameras and reflects the crescent sun on the ground.

Then with a filter on the lens I can see the eclipse as it passed overhead.

Cool pix Al, as of late all the astronomical happenings have been behind clouded skies, can't seem to catch a break.

Coolest thing I have seen was many years ago, the Perseid storm was really active and we were at a drive in watching the movie Contact and the meteors just kept flashing by.
