thanks. trunk width at base. 1.25 ". original height from soil 11.5 " current height 10 "

Hey Sam, yes, still with Rainbow Bonsai Club. I saw tons of pictures of the japan trip, that must've been like bonsai overload.

Very nice tree, love the trunk and deadwood. Why make it so one-sided though? Not saying it doesn't look good the way you made it, but it would have looked great with ALL the foliage wired with your new planting angle. Just curious...

the idea was to style the tree so the movement of the upper trunk could be seen.
