Hibiscus Hamabo on clearance - can't wait for the rest of the flower buds to pop!
(Also if someone could confirm whether these are poisonous to dogs/cats that'd be great - I think they are? If so will be keeping it out of reach!)
to the best of my knowledge, NONE of the hibiscus are poisonous. Only a few hibiscus are edible, but none are poisonous. Pets might experience indigestion if they consume hibiscus leaves, but that is due to the coarse fiber in the leaves, not toxic at all.
Orchid- Psychopsis Mendenhall 'Hildos', an orchid with long lived flower stems, a flowering stem will open a new bloom every 6 weeks or so. Each flower will last a couple weeks. The flowering stem will continue to grow and flower continuously for 6 or more years at a time. Each stem tends to only have one flower open at a time.
