I have some in my pond.Sorry no blooms this time. This is more of a question and a show and tell. Does anyone else have blue flag or yellow flag iris? For anyone who is not familiar with them, they are an iris that grow submerged in water. We first discovered them a couple of years ago when we were visiting Gibbs Gardens in North Georgia. We started with 4 little plants in a 6” colander in a pot with no drain. I filled the pot with pea gravel and the plants are in bonsai soil topped with lava for aesthetics. We repotted them yesterday and one pot with 4 little plants has turned into 18 plants in 4 pots. The original pot is a 6” opened and the three new ones are 12”. Does anyone else have these?

Usually, woody plant leaves reduce in size but not the flowers in bonsai training. Camellias, or at least some camellias, do the opposite. For example, in these pix the cutting that I have been growing (stem on the left) as a bonsais has leaves that are the same size as on the mother plant View attachment 294329, but the flower is definitely smaller. Anybody noticed anything similar, camellia or another species?
