Pawpaw, Asimina triloba, flower in pollen donating phase. Pistil is receptive for pollen before the pollen is ripe. Pist stops being receptive, then pollen is released. This prevents self fertilization.

Sporting flowers on a Secchu no Matsu…. If cut and grown out should produce Secchu no O.


Here’s the normal flower of Secchu no Matsu. It’s flowers are White with greenish yellow throats.
