I know they are common as crap but daffodils and narcissus just make me happy. I am showing a handful of the ones I have planted over the past 34 years.
The February Gold are done now and I have about 8 varieties still to bloom. I have daffs blooming from January through April. There are at least 2,000 of them I have naturalized in the woods and some very special types in the gardens, most still to bloom.

To me daffodils are nature's sign that spring is almost here. They make a nice tail for the dragon!

Camellias! Cut this bush back really hard two years ago (also attempted to dig down and separate, but it was a beast under the soil). Only had a handful of blooms last year and am happy to see it's throwing buds everywhere. Here are the first couple to open.

I love Camellias but they are not hardy here. Even so, I have a Buttons and Bows about to bloom. I also have a Roma Risorta. It's buds were just about to open and they all fell off. Like bud blast on an orchid. It sucked because the flowers are gorgeous.

I didn't thing about the dragons tail until after I took the picture. We do often think alike.

I assumed you did it on purpose and thought it was very clever.

O'Tooles in Lakewood, closer to Golden than Denver. Ill save you the trouble, its not worth the hike, you probably have a comparable garden center locally or in the Springs. In fact, I should be coming to you, to learn how to collect trees!
Good to know. We do have a place down here that's pretty decent, just overpriced like you'd expect. I think I creep them out sometimes, showing up just to look around and admire the plants.

You could do better for a collecting instructor, but I'm fairly certain it's mostly my unreliable after care. The sorts of learning curves I tend to implement, I should be a master soon.😜

Still, I do know where to find them. If you're game, I am.

What type of tree is that?
Low growing shrub. Grew really fast, almost completely filled in after one season. I think I got it last March for 5$
