Cold, gray, dreary day here. Seeing the flowering trees reminds me that spring will come. Supposed to be 68 tomorrow and 78 Sunday, so maybe I'll see some signs of life in the landscape soon.

Japanese flowering quince. I kept it in the greenhouse this year so the flowers wouldn’t wilt in the rain and it paid off! I brought it inside for a couple days to enjoy the show.
The Jane magnolia is in peak flower right now.
And I was surprised to see the “scarlet storm” double take flowering quince blooming. I saved this one from the Lowe’s markdown rack two years ago and this is the first time I’ve seen it flower.
My amaryllis rebloomed with a vengeance. I was about to throw it out because it looked so miserable. But it turns out that ignoring them is how you get them to rebloom. Blind luck!
