50 cts is a good deal.
I've got 7 of this size pots for sale @ $60 btw... :)

I'm not a pot specialist but I don't think you'll discover that it's a 100 years old Tokoname but it looks like a decent basic pot, only problem: no hole for the anchorage?

Ya I didn't think it was anything special. .. just wanted to see if it was better than the ones at Walmart or other place's like that.

Just run the wire through the drainage holes for anchoring. A lot of pots don't have the little holes for wire.
Can't beat the price either.

Usually supplied by Lotus International, located somewhere I believe in Georgia. Mould cast and basic glazed. You can drill the extra holes you need.
Sells for about 10US $ on our side. Should be non-porous, Put a little spittle or water on and see if it absorbs it.
Can hold a bit too much water for drier trees.
Good find.
Enjoy

I helped a fellow in St. Louis repott a large tree over the summer and he gave me about 30 of those, white and blue, some off white sets of three nested together. Made in, wait for it.........

CHINA!!!!!!:)

Inexpensive Chinese. Probably sold for less than $10 new. Mold formed. Drainage holes much too small, so watch drainage. Also not recommended outside in winter. Nice enough for indoor trees, though. Certainly worth more than you paid.

Looks like a priceless antique Chinese container, Ming Dynasty. Congratulations.

Just kiddin' but great for 50 cents.
