Just to give you a background on my history, I studied in Japan under Sagawa Taishin, one of the most prominent Hyousoushi in Japan. It would be similar to say...studying with Kunio Kobayashi.
Painting is by Vinh Bui.
This is a Full Moon Sumie wallscroll made by hand. It would pair well with a fall display with a Chuhin size or larger bonsai. The Ichimonji is a bright orange, with the intermediate cloth called Chuumawashi, being a rust orange color pure silk with a larger flower arabesque pattern. The top/bottom cloth is a bronze color solid synthetic cloth that has the look and feel of silk. The scroll is finished with plastic ivory Jikusaki and Kodai San Iro hanging string.
The length of the scroll is 36.5 inches and the width is 8" (10" with the Jikusaki)
Price of the scroll is $150.00, including shipping.
