Mister 500,000
111F tomorrow, hope the trees are ready. Shade cloth tightened up, misters on moved some to get more shelter. I have done all I can do so here we go!
Hey Clyde- the easy solution is to air condition your garage and move the collection inside! Simple!
Try to stay comfortable if you can.
Wow, that's crazy - good luck! I know that you've posted your trees before, but just out of curiosity, what kind of trees are you able to keep out there?
Boxwood is fast becoming my favorite...worth a try if you find an opportunity. Re: yaupon, I wonder why. The ones I collected seems bullet proof. Some were chopped to almost no roots and down to a few inches stump but they still sprout like crazy. I also collected some out of season (last month) and those too sprouted.I am sure box would do just fine as it is really common for landscape. I have not tried it for some reason. Yaupon, I love'em but I have killed every single one. I have a few elms (no cedar) and we will see what happens. The ones I listed I have had for more than 3 years.
