Repotted yesterday 04/26/2024. The soil was becoming water resistant after 4 years.
Couldn't expect good outcome if I were out of town and someone else watered my trees for me before and after school.

Thanks it needs a good thinning and wiring again this Summer.
One thing this one has to balance is Sun exposure to keep the 4 colours it displays nicely and moisture level. Hinoki do not fair well in drying winds but the golden varieties need full Sun to look best.

Very nice cypress! Angle branches down, hide the trunk in multiple places, and the natural style will be complete
