Wow! That would be so cool! We have seen it possible to airlayer larch so all that's left is to take the leap.
Peter Chan did a 30 year old Larch in one of his videos. I definitely will be doing this one day.

This larch is 40+ yrs old. Hope that is not too old to try an air layer. Also, Chan's tree was not a Larix laricina but a European larch.
