Below is a picture of a English yew that was collected in PA. I helped a friend of mine take it out of the ground. You should of seen him try and put it in his car. In all seriousness (if thats possible) he reduced it to what maybe a fine piece someday the mixture of deadwood,low branching, and a staggering nebari made this a worthwhile endeavor even if he will never be able to stand up straight again.:D

I'd love to see the process on some of these huge trees. I have a fair number of junipers sitting in my yard but none of them sing to me yet. Perhaps I just need another 10 years of experience. Right now they just look like big ugly stumps with a lot of straight branches.
 
Boy my back is hurting just looking at the pics. This should make a nice bonsai.
