ID on this trident maple variety?

Hey folks, I've been wondering about this trident variety for some time now. It keeps quite short internodes and has different coloration (more lime green leaves and stems) than my other tridents. It doesn't tend to airlayer well (at least with the 4 I've tried) but cuttings readily strike. A few other minor differences. I think I got it at the Blue Ridge Bonsai Expo back in 2018 or something but obviously lost the label. Pics below are comparisons of terminal shoots of (left) a normal trident that I have been pruning back/controlling vigor of vs. (right) the mystery trident that has been free growing in the ground for years. Note the latter still keeps shorter internodes. Any ideas much appreciated!

Acer buergerianum 'Hime Kaede' and Acer buergerianum 'Goshiki Shidare' are the two other I see that look similar to the usual trident Acer buergerianum.
