Hi,

Is there anyway to lessen the nats that I’ve seen flying around? It wasn’t as many as my previous place. Also this serissa doesn’t seem to be doing as great. Any help is appreciated.

Fungus gnats can be destroyed with nematodes. Not sure if those are available in the US but I've heard good stories over here.
DE diatomaceous earth does not work once it gets wet, and I have the idea that 'shards that rip insect trachea to shreds' might be harmful for humans too. They've been living in detritus for hundreds of millions of years, they should be used to breathing in dirt and fine particles, humans? Yeah, they've been living away from the dust for a loooong time.

Other than that I've heard good stories on using mosquito bits in a bucket and soaking the pots in them.

Sticky traps will help with adults but I've used a hydrogen peroxide mix that worked for me in the past. I think it was mix 1 part 3% hydrogen peroxide with 4 parts water, then use it as a soil drench to kill the larvae on contact; it fizzes and aerates soil but you might need to repeat as the top layer dries to break the gnat cycle. I would use sparingly after that, like wait a couple weeks and then reapply if needed.
