Hi all !! I have a liquidamber which I have grow from a tiny sapling. It is about 5 years old now and looks very healthy. However, it is still bright lime green all over including the trunk. I would have thought that the trunk at least should be turning brown by now, not lime green. I have been exfoliating with success and the tree is only 12" tall but much broader. Leaves are compact and lying against the trunk. Any ideas , or is it the nature of Liquidambers ? Many thanks.

Green is better than black.

Unless you are in a dark dark room....
Then black is pretty much all you got.
