Great pot. It compiments well the tree. I'm impatient to see the autumn colours.

PS : do you have a photo from an angle ? I'd like to see the angles of the pot more closely, I like this shape.
I have a cheap pot built on the same principles, the "groove" looks more evident. I put a lonicera in it :

. The truth is in the pudding. After all the wire is off - who has the better tree? It is irrelevant a few years later whether the wire was used according to generally accepted principles.

YES!!!!! This is EXACTLY how we should THINK about wiring..

Details and personally "sculpted" wiring procedure and opinions are IRRELEVANT..

It's the results we are after, anyways!
