JBP need help with styling

I just repot this JBP, this is my first pine so I don’t know what to do with it. Should I start wiring after 2-3 months or wait until next year? I’m in tropics so no winter here.
All branches are long and legggy, how do I get back buddings on this pine?

You need to grow this tree. In summer, if the tree is growing well, you can wire it. Wiring the tree w/ branches horizontal (or lower) will produce backbuds. While you're building the branches, you'll cut back and create backbuds. They're easier for the tree to produce as needle-buds, so leave needles along the branches where you'd like to see budding. That said, the branching on this tree is young enough that it could still produce buds along the bare sections.

Although it is possible to wire pines safely in the growing season it is best to do so in slower growth times. Be careful if wiring when candles are extending and rapid growth occurring.
It is important to plan your approach before wiring branches into certain positions. This involves deciding on the best planting angle. A combination of trunk Line and nebari. Your tree appears young enough that it will benefit from growing out and exploring those options for some time before deciding. In the mean time you can work on improving the root ball, and nebari while thickening the trunk and developing primary branching. If you are new to design it would be beneficial to study some basic guidelines for designing bonsai, in particular conifers.
When you do begin wiring it will be to set the initial positions for primary branching and begin developing secondary and tertiary branches for pad formation and new shoot development.

I agree with this. As far as styling is concerned you have a nice trunk with good movement. When styling bonsai you want to highlight the features of the trunk. In this case the feature of your tree is the nice movement and eventually it will have bark which will be a feature. You want to show these off in your styling. the foliage is manipulated with wire to become a frame of the trunk. Your main branch here should mimic the flow of the trunk to highlight that feature.
Ive attached a very rough drawing to show whats possible.
As for the leggy branches i would fertilize the heck out of the tree starting now and then I would decandle this summer to start building ramifaction. You should start to get back buds on the branches but if not you can always scion graft buds further back
