Medium swamp collected BCs

Here is Hulk. Uncle C did it... so it has been well over a year.
@Cajunrider @Michigan Tree Murderer
I did a pretty hard cut back yesterday... mostly at the top.

Your branch splits are nearly all the same length. They need to get progressively shorter. You may need to cut Hulk back a bit more to make that happen. Other than that Hulk looks good and healthy.

PS: Put on some prune sealant to keep the cuts from cracking wider.

I think I will shorting the top branches a bit more tomorrow.
Am letting the lower branches go to thicken

Wow! Very nice & Hulk like. Love the added calcium, & the fact that you & Uncle C name your trees. I came up with a name for mine...Cajun Riders Wisdom. :)

Well here it is before I put the cut paste on.

I had to cut the back branch off that I wanted to keep. There's more coming soon.

You can see where I nicked the old scar here.

Here's most of the tools I used. I tried not to leave big gouges with the carving tools. I used a bigger hand saw & my drill with a wood carving paddle attachment to get started (not pictured)
I carved with the wood handle tools quite a bit, it should look roughed up a bit a guess. Not bad attempt as I've never done that before I'll let it heal a bit and go from there. :)

Thanks a lot @Cajunrider I really appreciate all the advice & experience you share. :)
Thanks for sharing the details for novice like me. Could you please share the names of those wood handle tools?
