Hi all,

I am moving out of Atlanta at the end of the year, and would like to off-load at least a few of my pre-bonsai. I am not looking to turn a profit, but I put in physical effort collecting them, and have spent resources like substrate, containers and fertilizer in keeping them healthy, so would like to be compensated for that if possible. Most of these trees have been in my care for 2 growing seasons' so they are well-established in their containers.

The first tree is a Virginia pine, one of the southern shortleaf pines, in a pond basket. The roots have been successfully reduced to this container and it is a healthy tree. It does need to be worked on to bring the foliage closer to the base of the tree. The second tree is a Paper mulberry (Broussonetia papyrifera) collected from a friend's yard. It has very interesting striped bark. Leaves can get very large, but just like mulberry, defoliation and pruning back will produce much smaller leaves.

I have a few other trees too, which I plan to take with me, but if you were to take a liking to them, I would be okay to part with. I live in midtown Atlanta, so I am easy to get to if you want to drop by. I have until December to do this, so feel free to message me if you are interested.

Do you know if your mulberry is a male or female?

I don't know, sorry. You probably know this, but paper mulberries have different fruit than Morus genus mulberries, they look like wooly orange balls.

Yes, quite funky! But they're diecious so there are male and female trees.

I prefer the female as I think the berries adds interest.
