I just finished styling this maple tree in honor of the new month.
It is a cascading style.
Do you like it? My mom says I'm very artistic! It's even in a cascading style pot.
Do you think I should add any jun or shari?

PaulH,

I like it very much. Do you have any details on where you acquired the stand?

Happy first day of the new month.

Regards,
Martin

Hey Paul,

Nice wiring job there. You should put this on Ebay, I'm sure someone will pay top dollar for it.

Great pot - is it tokoname?

I also love the trunk - are you feeding this beast lots of Superthrive or humic acid?

I like the tree. Don't like the display. You should move the tree about 3 3/4 " to the left and flip the 2x4 over onto the muddy side to give it an "earthier" feeling. Trash can handles should ALWAYS face towards the viewer, at least that's what the Kei Do folks say :D

I'm curious what Smoke would think about my display, In particular my unorthodox use of the dead leaves accent on the bottom of the stand.

Looks like one I saw Kimura working on, only this has a much beefier trunk and better wiring. Are you going to do some carving? :D

I have given it the formal setting it really deserves.

WOW....It just keeps getting better.

I think it needs an accent though. Maybe a crushed Miller Highlife can on it's side?

Hi PaulH, I like what you are doing with this tree. You're heading in the right direction I think. Here's how I see it in 5 years.
Good luck with it!

Oh by the way, the pink wire has got to go.

Thanks for the virt!
That's exactly what I was going for.
I'll post updates as it gets closer.
Oh, its not wire. I didn't have any so I used pink string.
