Spring Flowers at Shohinland by Petermac 2021
Your trees are lovely @maria kapra (Peter)
thanks for sharing... I have few questions, could you please help

You have very beautiful bonsais, Peter. Thanks for sharing, they are a visual delight.
Blue Atlas cedars are so beautiful. How old are they?
I have been trying Blue Atlas cedar for a long time but not much success. Any tips on this particular species:
Temperature, humidity, soil?
In my opinion and experience, they do not like wet feet and hate humidity. Is that true?

Thanks

Pyracantha - It's all about the red berries... its thorny and be very careful. Easy to grow, can be air layered and excellent choice for shohin display.
It's all about the berries that makes this plant a good choice in your collection. The fruit really stands out but trimming the plant can be tricky at times.

Peter also interested in how you create these? Are the twisty bits roots or shoots?

Just retired 3 weeks ago and have a chance to take photos of my Pyracantha showing lots of berries. They are ready for bonsai show but nothing is near in the future.
Enjoy the berries now before the birds eat them or squirrel will do damage just to pissed me off.. Fall is good time to do major shaping again and significant cutback....

Were these all from the same mother plant? I seem to get much more color variation in the berries, from nearly yellow to the deep red you have here.

No, from different mother plant and some are little late in showing their red berries.
