New stock twin trunk quince

That was a cool read, just went from the beginning.
I love finding (or in this case @BobbyLane tagging me) these threads that started many years ago and can see the real progression and everyone's comments, like golddust.
I'm sure you don't need me to say how great this is looking. From the first few years of work I had difficulty seeing things taking shape, then suddenly it just all rushed in to focus and out popped this great tree. It was you that had that eye to begin with though and saw how it could happen, then did it.
I need that eye! Can I borrow it.. just for few years?

Just got done reading this thread. The progress of the tree is amazing.
Thank you!
I have decided that I can't take the right trunk off as @Bonsai Nut suggested, the suggestion is a great one, but the trunk behind doesn't have enough movement and taper to carry that off, as well as the wound it would create in the front.
I will still think on this, maybe if I could start some branching on that trunk behind, it could create some of the movement that it currently lacks. I do love the virt and how it opens the tree...

Progression...love threads like this. It's amazing where you've taken this tree. As to the scar...sometimes scars in the right locations can add to a tree. But, grasp your not wanting one where this one would be placed. Love the exfoliation of bark on the Chinese quince...have admired them for quite some time.

I have 4 quince now, they are pretty fun. Two are Chinese quince, and they are different from each other. This one here is from a cutting, which means smaller leaves, but a longer wait for flowers.

Really nice tree Judy! I hope you still have it!? How is it doing nowdays?

Seconded. I’ve been perusing these progression threads, and it would be nice to see a 2022 update. If you’ve sold/traded/gifted the tree, perhaps the new owner is a member here who would care to share?

I did sell to a member here who is still working the tree with great success. Maybe they will post an update.
