Hi everyone, I've been trying my hand at bonsai for several years now, pretty much just trial and error, definitely a lot to learn. Here are a few pics of my collection. I have a lot of repotting and styling/maintenance to do once I finish school in a couple weeks. I look forward to meeting everyone!

Welcome, I hope you enjoy this great hobby of bonsai!

Welcome to the forum, lovely blossoms, thanks for sharing them.

... tree is not just randomly trained...you will need to become familiar with the 5 styles of bonsai and the sub styles...

Thank you, sir, and yes, I have a lot of studying to do. Thank you for the links, I've added them to my bookmarks. I've also begun to read through the pages here:

http://www.bonsaiprimer.com/

The bonsai primer is very basic, which is what I need. I especially like the sections about pruning and developing branches, but the whole thing is very instructive.
