It came down to a final 2 for me, and I chose Ricks #8, I think the color works for both bare and in flower.

I went with Bill's #3 - I agree with him about the planting angle and the fact that you want to have wisteria blooms hanging free of the trunk. With wisteria you would want to pot it up as if the racemes of flowers were present - in which case this would be a semi-cascade. The pot shape and size is perfect for me, though I have to admit the blue is a little too bright baby blue and I would prefer something a little more subtle (even for wisteria).

Hi Moose,
That scoop pot is deep!:D
Tom can ya list the size of that Pot please.
Irene

In which case my appologies, it's the old limitations of the photo issue, I lost any idea of the scale overall. I did love the crescent combination with the tree though.

I choose the Bill Valavanis pot. The shape allowed the Bonsai to be planted as a cascade which looks much more graceful than the current planting angle. The color is complimentary as is the shape of the cascade container. The overall image is the best in my opinion.

Greetings all and sorry for the delay in announcing the winner. Had a few hospital tests and have been incapacitated. I think that you all know that Dale has won the Peoples Choice Contest.

Congratulations Dale on winning that poll.

Thanks Tom and All,
I can't take any credit other than the pot selections.
My winning pot will be going to Emil since he did such a nice job on the virts using the pot pictures I sent him.
Thanks again Emil.

Congrats Dale!

To make the virts was a sheer pleasure. Evidently the pot selection was far more important than the virts themselves and I have to say that your pick was the best IMHO. And thanks for the pot, I'll remember it when I need another one :)
