Podo gracilior as bonsai & propagation

Hi There,
At my job there is a quite nice Podocarpus gracilior (Fern pine) and I would like to know:
- if it's suitable for bonsai? Do you ever try it?
- could I propagate it by cutting? If yes when would you do that? (it's kind of tropical no? could I do it now?)
