Podo Nursing Tip?

A while back I was waiting on a Amazon package & the driver shows up and sits in my driveway for 10 min, apparently rummaging around in the back of the van. Doesn't find my package & ends up driving away with the right sliding door open. I live on a road with a hairpin turn not far away and watched to see if the contents of the van ended up in the ditch 300ft away. No luck, and I never got my package. I also never wonder to what happened to it as it probably ended up in a ditch down the road before he arrived at my house. 🤪

@ShadyStump - read, check if seller guaranteed safe delivery. If tree arrives frozen, they may replace it. Podocarpus have some frost hardiness, I think zone 8, maybe into zone 7b, this "bomb cyclone" of frigid air will kill it if it chills all the way to - 10 F but if packaging keeps it slightly warmer it might survive.
It was through Amazon, and there's not allot of detailed info about the seller's policies, though Amazon is saying it's returnable before January 31st, and full refund if not delivered by the 29th.
Seller has 4.5 stars, and allot of reviews talk about how great their packing is, so I'm hopeful. If it's packed well and been indoors in a warehouse somewhere - not the back of a truck in a loading dock - it should be safe from temperatures.

My sister was talking about an order she's been waiting on that's bounced around 3 or 4 different post offices in the SF Bay area for the past few weeks. Ordered it the first week of November, and it was supposed to arrive weeks ago.
Weren't computers supposed to fix these problems?

At work I think I personally have at least 10 different lost package claims going right now, but I got stopped dead today by one where a guy got a package he DIDN'T order a day after receiving his own order.
I think we may have solved someone else's lost package mystery, but no clue how his address wound up on it.

No, computers can't fix human errors, they can try and prevent them but can't stop em. :)

I remember you mentioning this, BRT from Clicio. That's still nuts
And if course there's still a Barbados cherry marauding around out there somewhere.
I know, I'm sorry. I swear I did send it. I have some more I can send you.

I ordered something for my brother-in-law a month and a half ago. I finally got it Tuesday but I'm still getting e-mails that it will will be shipped in 3-5 days........

And in good shape too.

Aside from looking like it's been shoved in a box for a week, no signs of damage.
That box looks like it took a beaten. Yew gotta be kidding me! that plant looks good. Did it arrive upside down like all mine do? :)

No, right-side-up, but only I knew it was here because I got an email notification that it'd been delivered. Thank God the weather was decent today.
Yeah, I was expecting it to be in worse condition when I first saw the box, but was pleasantly surprised. Only a fistful of soil spilled in that bag, and it's pretty wet.

I feel it's pretty likely that the seller actually did give instructions to keep the tree above freezing even if it meant late delivery, though nothing I've seen explicitly said so. All the movements in the the tracking data correspond to decent weather.
I'm thinking informal upright style since it's supposed to be a Christmas bonsai. It has just enough of a main trunk to take it that direction, but the nebari will certainly need some help.
I figure it'll be a gorgeous Christmas tree by the time all the kids are grown and moved out. 😜
