Port Week

well mine looks like trash rn because it only moved outside for the year about a week ago
Awwww. I have weird stuff going on in my yard too. Some things are still dormant, and an apple flowered this week when I wasn't looking so I missed it. My phone wont take photos but I do have a clumsy big tablet I have to get comfortable with if I want to share photos!

Finally getting my new phone to work a little bit.
This is my son's little guy, still a bit scraggly from wintering inside.
Yay phone! I finally got something that makes my camera easier on chrome - a USB card reader.
What do you mean your son's? Is he into plants now?

All the kids have their own plants and trees around the house. I take them to pick flowers for the flower bed every spring, but some years they insist on picking something else entirely, so now there is an assortment of cacti, and bamboo, and ferns, and whatnot.

Children interested in plants--how wonderful!
It's not as strange as people think. We just tell them no too often because we're burnt out or afraid we can't keep up. I did have to force the issue the first couple times, but since then they've pretty much kept it going all by themselves.

Listen to the kids, and they'll drag you out of your funk in a heartbeat!
Good chance you'll fall right back into it again as soon as you sit down, but it'll be worth it for that moment.
