So I picked this up at lowes. Yes I know it has a long way to go, but I can shape an twist it to my will. I want to pull the thick one out and grow it out and make it bonsai material. 20130604_230348.jpg20130604_230408.jpg

Couple things about this. You can't do any bending or wiring on this tree. The tree only has, basically, stems. They have not hardend off yet. It will be quite a while before they do. If you attempt to bend and wire this now, you will break the stems and knock the leaves off. This tree does not have a trunk yet. I would find a nice pot for it and keep it as a house plant. Maybe in about 6-7 years, when there is a trunk/trunks that have hardend off and have many branches coming off them, you can consider doing something bonsai related to it.
