A new to me Prunus Mahaleb.
It was originally a project from Danny which I took over.

Last workshop we managed to pick a suiting pot and decided about a final design.
Next up is some more deadwood work and ramification.

Cool tree what is it’s origin . Was it collected from the wild . Or a garden plant . Always find it interesting where material is found . K really like itv. Combo of rough life and lovely flowers . Always looks great

It could be yamadori or field grown plant, they are used as rootstock for fruiting prunus
