Are Pseudo larix just as good as European larch?

I think it's a good price. Lots of branches, position of the lowest branch is good, good nebari, nice taper, seems to be healthy, ...

Alot of the foliage is yellow. I said was it sun burn and that was the case.

Is this the same care as other larches

It does look like a pretty nice tree.
I have never heard of that species.
Seems like a reasonable price, I've seen worse for more, for sure.

Hmmm
The tree it does have a good nebari
Enough well placed branches

Hard to tell from pictures but:
Taperless trunk
Branches grow up like a decideous tree instead of hanging down like pines (its still a needle type tree)
Looks like some branches in the top are thicker than the lower branches

I have seen more interesting larches for around that price

I personaly might save the money for something else i dont realy know the difference between the pseudo larch and euro larch so i cant help with that

So would I, actually. There must be lots of Dunkeld larch around Edinburgh, and it's a much better species for bonsai: smaller needles, locally grown so ideal weather conditions, etc.
