May still repot this.

Trimmed yesterday.

New grafts seem to have taken but I left em.

Growth habit is kinda lame. Throws 4's and whorls. Though the bottom seems better than the top. Good thing. These were 2 trees, I reckon the different folaige is from the 2 trees.

Some graft notes.

The donor right to left here failed. The branch kept growing and bulged but never connected, you can see the little stub where it broke off quite easily in the second pic.

So the exit left fail, but there was a branch growing right on the "in" side so I left it. I think it took. On the right is graft in and out.

This one took, but I think I may use the donor to add movement and more trunk.

In am attempt to hide that rather straight plane, it's the back, so I'm playing around.

This was donated by the above graft, yes, grafted then regrafted. It took well and has been cut.

And this is the first one as a new lead. Am inch about exit already.

I think I'll end up using a better Benjamin foilage since this is so easy.

Fully.

The future.

And this thing I been building up top, which I didn't get around to layering this year, oh well. I'll probably cut it back to just trunk and grow branches later. This always shoots shoulder sprouts.

@sorce how is this beast doing these days?

I put it away this year with fears of scale getting bad again, it's fairly bushy.

Too bushy with it's knuckly knob budding habit.

The grafts have fully taken, so I may regraft a better Benjamin foilage to them this year.
