A Pin Oak i've been growing from seed the past few years. Turning 4 next spring. Simplye little thing. Need to up pot it into something larger to get some good growth so maybe will do that next year into a 1g nursey pot or something.

You cant tell but that pot is 4ft wide and 2ft deep... tree has a 10" trunk!!!!

Sure it's not 4' perimeter and 2' deep? Sure looks deeper than it is wide.

Repotted into a 1g nursery pot into 1:1 mix of compost perlite. letting grow for a few years now. cut roots back a bit as well.

Today. Starting to leaf out. Something nibbled the bark over winter. hopefully that heals fast. Will allow the low sucker to grow as a sacrifice.
