pare it down to the wire shadow on the rock, backdropped by some sand, wabi-sabi....your photo is a great shot of some junk on a rugged beach...that I enjoy viewing!

There is 9,577 miles of Great Lakes shoreline, most of it pleasant, if not pristine, so a picture of a rusting electrical panel laying on the beach is not picturesque, has no artistic content and I'm pretty sure not wabi sabi unless there is something terribly screwed up in the translation.

Wasabi...ones perspective. Does that make another ones view wrong? I don't think so. To each individual...it's their own interpretation. To over think it...is the loss to the one over thinking.
