Any other DC area enthusiasts out there? Just moved here and trying to connect with others. PM me if you don't want to post. Any advice would be appreciated.
I will try to post pics of the National collection as spring approaches, since I'm not far from there.

I am not, but there are several folks here on the forum that are. Welcome to the forum!

Yep, I'm located in Alexandria, VA - just south of the District line. Welcome! There are a few more of us here. Hopefully they'll pipe up and introduce themselves. The National Bonsai Museum collection is pretty cool. When I was there last week the maple and elm buds were just beginning to swell. They're in full repot mode there!

I'm SE PA but never hesitate to travel 2/3 hours for bonsai stuff. We may meet in person someday, wether we know it or not

I'm in Gainesville. Huge Ficus fan, but currently on a break.

Welcome to Crazy!

Where did you move from? Reason I ask is plant related and could make some adjustments necessary.

I moved from way down south in Louisiana. I left most of my trees down there due to climate and downsize of space. Right now I just have a couple young black pines, some random seedlings, and a small jade. I'm looking forward to acquiring some types of trees that were difficult to grow in my former climate. I also like to grow from seed.

have fun in DC.. the baltimore club is not too far away and is excellent. And you're close to Meehans Miniatures. I'm super jelly
